Design an iPhone/iPad application that utilizes the iOS devices camera to take photos of objects and be able to overlay it using augmented reality. Examples of these objects may include photos of paintings, furniture, or whatever you see in a store that you may want to see in your home or apartment. Once the photo has been taken, be able to select the main object in the photo and clean out the background. Once the object's background has been removed, be able to save it in it's memory for later use.
Now that there is an object in memory, to be able to recall that in an augmented reality type setting utilizing the iOS device camera. So lets imagine that the object was a painting you saw in a store.
1) Open up the augmented reality application so the user sees their living room.
2) Be able to call an object that is stored in memory
3) Have that object overlay on the augmented reality screen and be able to lock it in place. Possible things that the user can do is resize the shape, the levelness of the object and brightness using multi-touch. Utilize pinch to zoom feature for controlling the size of image if user selects a resize. Slide finger left to right across screen to control brightness. For leveling the object, use 2 fingers to control the tilt or angle.
4) Let the user save that picture to the iOS picture album once they like what they see.
