Hi, I have an existing Power Automate flow that reads SLA data from Excel and sends alerts to a Teams channel. Currently, the issue is that breached cases are triggering multiple messages (one per case), which is causing spam in Teams. I need the flow to be redesigned so that: - Risk cases (≤4 hours) continue to send individual alerts - Breached cases are grouped and sent as a single summary message using an HTML table The flow already includes filtering logic (SLA Status and Alert Sent), so the main requirement is optimizing the alert mechanism and improving performance (avoiding loops for Teams messages). Additionally, after sending alerts, the flow should update the “Alert Sent” column to avoid duplicates. Please let me know the best approach and if you can implement this efficiently.

Dear Sir/ Madam, I’m an Indian freelance Power Platform developer, and I can help you redesign and optimize your existing Power Automate flow to eliminate Teams notification spam while improving performance and maintainability. Based on your requirement, I will restructure the alert mechanism so that risk cases (≤4 hours) continue to trigger individual alerts, while breached cases are grouped and delivered as a single summary message using a dynamic HTML table. This will significantly reduce noise in your Teams channel and improve clarity. To achieve this, I will replace the current per-item alert logic with an optimized approach using array handling and data aggregation, ensuring we avoid unnecessary loops for sending Teams messages. The breached records will be compiled into a clean HTML table and sent in one consolidated notification. Additionally, I will implement a reliable update process for the “Alert Sent” column immediately after notifications are sent, preventing duplicate alerts in future runs. The final solution will be efficient, scalable, and easy to maintain, with proper error handling and validation. I’m available to start immediately and can deliver this quickly with clear documentation. Looking forward to working with you. Best regards, Suresh Indian Freelance Power Platform Developer

Hi, I understand the issue with your current Power Automate flow and can optimize it effectively. -> Proposed Solution: Redesign flow to separate Risk and Breached cases cleanly Keep Risk cases (≤4 hrs) as individual Teams alerts Group all Breached cases into a single summary message using an HTML table Eliminate multiple Teams messages to avoid channel spam -> Flow Optimization: Use efficient filtering (SLA Status + Alert Sent) Avoid unnecessary loops for Teams actions Aggregate breached data before sending notification Improve overall performance and scalability -> Data Handling: Generate clean, structured HTML table for breached cases Ensure readability and proper formatting in Teams -> Post-Processing: Update “Alert Sent” column after notifications Prevent duplicate alerts in future runs -> Outcome: Cleaner Teams communication Faster and more efficient flow execution Easy to maintain and extend I can implement this quickly and ensure a reliable, production-ready solution. Hello, Thanks for sharing the file. I reviewed the dataset and I can already see where the issue comes from and what the best approach would be. Best approach The alert flow should not rely only on the trigger, but on a clean SLA evaluation logic. Right now, the SLA‑related fields in your dataset (such as SLA Remaining, SLA Status, SLA Due Date) are empty, which means the flow has no reliable criteria to decide when an alert should fire. The best approach is to restructure the flow so that it: validates the SLA fields before running calculates or retrieves the SLA values consistently triggers alerts only when the SLA threshold is actually reached prevents duplicate or unnecessary alerts logs each alert event for traceability This ensures the flow becomes predictable, stable, and easy to maintain. What I can implement I can redesign the flow so it works efficiently and consistently by: adding a proper SLA evaluation step ensuring the data source provides the required SLA fields optimizing the conditions and branching logic preventing false positives (alerts sent when they shouldn’t) making the flow easier to troubleshoot and extend I can implement this cleanly without disrupting your existing process. Next step If you want, I can walk you through the exact improvements I would apply and confirm the expected behavior before making any changes. Let me know and I can start immediately. Best regards, Karim

Hi there, I read your requirements carefully, and I can optimize your existing Power Automate flow so Teams alerts stay useful without creating message spam. The best approach is to keep individual alerts only for Risk cases within 4 hours, then collect all Breached cases into one grouped summary message using an HTML table. After the alerts are sent, the flow should update the “Alert Sent” column for the processed rows so the same cases are not triggered again. I have solid experience with Excel-based automation, Power Automate logic, Teams notifications, filtering, and workflow optimization. My focus will be on improving the alert mechanism, reducing unnecessary loops, and making the flow cleaner and easier to maintain. What I can help with: • Keep Risk alerts as individual Teams messages • Group Breached cases into one HTML summary table • Update “Alert Sent” after successful alerting • Reduce Teams-message loops and improve performance • Preserve your existing SLA Status and filter logic • Test the flow to prevent duplicate alerts Cost: ₹1,000 || Timeline: 1 day Best regards Oluwatobi Okedairo

Hi, I can help redesign your Power Automate flow to eliminate Teams spam and improve efficiency. I’ll modify the logic so risk cases (≤4 hours) continue sending individual alerts, while breached cases are aggregated into a single HTML table summary message. This will involve restructuring the flow to avoid unnecessary loops, using array collection and a single Teams action for grouped alerts. I’ll also ensure the “Alert Sent” column is updated reliably after notifications to prevent duplicates. The solution will be clean, scalable, and optimized for performance. I’ve handled similar automation tasks and can implement this quickly and effectively. Regards Sangeeta

‼️ONLY PAY WHEN YOU'RE 100% HAPPY‼️ I see your main challenge is reducing Teams spam by grouping breached SLA alerts while keeping risk cases individual—focusing on optimizing the flow’s alert mechanism and performance is key. My approach would be to batch breached cases into a single HTML table message, triggered once per run, while continuing individual alerts for risk cases. Then update the “Alert Sent” flag efficiently to prevent duplicates. While I’m new to Freelancer, I’ve handled similar Power Automate projects improving alert workflows and minimizing message overload. Let’s chat! Worst case, you get a free consultation and real insight. Regards Pietie Lubbe

Hi there, I saw your post about the Power Automate flow and the issue with Teams spam. I am a detail-oriented professional with a Nursing background from Jimma University, so I understand the importance of clear, organized communication—especially when it comes to time-sensitive alerts like SLAs. I hold 7 Google AI certificates, which helps me approach automation and data integration logically and efficiently. My Approach to your Flow: Efficiency: I will use a 'Filter Array' followed by a 'Create HTML Table' action for the breached cases. This avoids the 'Apply to each' loop that is currently causing multiple messages. Selective Alerting: I'll keep the individual logic for the risk cases (≤4 hours) while ensuring the breached summary is sent as one clean message. Data Integrity: I will ensure the 'Alert Sent' column in your Excel sheet updates correctly after the flow runs to prevent any duplicate notifications. I am very comfortable with Excel and data management and can get this updated for you quickly. One quick question: Is the SLA data in a formatted Excel Table, or is it just a range of cells? I'm ready to take a look at your current flow and help you clean up those notifications!
