Excel Dashboard Build with Power BI

I have a mixed dataset—text and numerical fields—that I need transformed into a clear, easy-to-update dashboard. Although the final file must live in Excel so my team can maintain it, I’m comfortable if you use Power BI during development to shape the data, create measures, and prototype visuals before porting everything back into Excel. Scope • Import and clean the raw data (expect multiple sheets with both string and numeric columns). • Build the core calculations—think nested IFs, HLOOKUPs and any other advanced functions that keep the workbook dynamic yet lightweight. • Design a single-screen dashboard: interactive slicers, pivot-based charts, and conditional-formatting indicators that instantly show trends and outliers. • Deliver a short hand-off note (or quick Loom video) so I can refresh the model without chasing formulas. Acceptance Criteria – Dashboard opens with no broken links or refresh errors. – All visuals update correctly when new rows are appended. – File size remains reasonable (<10 MB once complete). – Clear documentation of any Power Query steps or DAX measures created in Power BI.
