I want to design a circuit that uses a 4-20ma PID controller to control a DC motor. The available voltage I have for the circuit is 24VAC, and this is to output to a a 17VDC motor that has a maximum allowable current of 165mA.
What I am looking for specifically is a circuit that can be made on a breadboard using simple and cheap, off the shelf components, that can control the motor as required, without damaging the low current 4-20mA controller and not using excess load from the 24VAC power supply.

Hi you can use L293D moter drive IC. It is very cheape and easy to assemble in a bread board. Hope this will work for you. If you hv any question please ask me. Thanks
