I’m taking a new leather handbag from idea to factory line and I need a product-development partner who can stay with me through every stage. The focus is a premium yet accessible leather design that reflects my brand’s modern-classic positioning and meets strict cost and quality targets. Starting with trend-aware concept sketches, you’ll refine the silhouette and construction details around three must-have features: generous inner compartments, a secure zipper closure, and a fully adjustable strap. From there, I’ll rely on you to build a production-ready tech pack, source leather and hardware options that deliver durability without blowing the margin, and liaise with sample makers until we land on a sign-off prototype. Key deliverables: • Initial mood boards and multiple concept sketches • Detailed tech pack with measurements, materials, BOM and stitching specs • Material and hardware sourcing recommendations (leather grades, zippers, fittings) • Prototype guidance and fit notes for factory sampling • Final production files ready for manufacturing hand-off Please highlight any CAD, Illustrator, or Clo3D skills, along with experience supervising leather goods through to mass production.
