This is a second follow-up project to the "timeToEventAnalytic" project.
The original plan had been to do the analytic solution for totalN and nominalPower under the original RAC project and to implement the Halpern simulation, exponential and piecewise, under a separate project. And, to do an optimization as a third project.
At this point, optimization for the analytic solution has been demonstrated and the Halpern simulation for exponential data has been demonstrated using the log rank test for two treatments. In this project, the simulation will be generalized to support a linear model, not just two treatments, using Cox proportional hazards methodology.
This project is to implement the Halpern simulation for treatment by genotype interaction, exponential simulation, using the Cox proportional hazards model. Treatment by genotype interaction modeling with Cox proportional hazards has been done for the analytic case in the "timeToEventAnalyticFollowUp" project on RAC.
