We require a simple Chrome web browser extension which takes the value inside of the address bar and submits it to our remote proxy server.
We require a Google Chrome extension for our website [url removed, login to view]
The extension will add an icon next to or inside of the address bar, upon clicking this icon the existing URL inside of the address bar will be redirected to our web proxy. For example if [[url removed, login to view]] is loaded and the user clicks the extension icon, they will be taken to [url removed, login to view]
The extension simply redirects the user to our web proxy and loads the website inside of our web proxy. Technically the extension would just be submitting a form request to one of our web proxy servers.
Right clicking the icon will show a settings form for which the user can specify. I have been told right clicking may not be possible, so in this case a settings form from the extension menu would be acceptable.
Proxy site: [url removed, login to view] / [url removed, login to view] / [url removed, login to view] (if unblocked or anon is selected the rest of the settings form is disabled, as these domains do not have server or SSL support).
Server: (Random or: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5), e.g. [[url removed, login to view]], [[url removed, login to view]] - 'random' will be the default option.
SSL (HTTPS://) on or off (off by default)
Always launch proxy in Incognito mode: yes / no.
Icon is yet to be designed, so for now use a pixel block for demo purposes.
