We run a global marketplace that connects film, TV and digital-media professionals with clients who need their skills. To keep our community growing I’m looking for a full-time project admin who knows the media-production world inside out and can devote 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, to proactive talent outreach and project posting. Most of your day will revolve around finding fixer, cameramen, editors, animators, sound designers, talent agent, and other specialists in Facebook groups, LinkedIn industry hubs, Twitter communities, google search, and – where visual portfolios matter – Instagram. You’ll batch-message prospects with the outreach tool of your choice, track replies, then follow up manually by email or phone until they register on our platform. Clear, friendly English is essential; you should feel comfortable jumping on a quick call when needed. In parallel, you should also create project postings while there are new production inquiries coming in, and then encourage related professionals to get registered and place bids on these new project inquiris. Then keep an eye on any follow-up questions so each brief stays active and accurate. Every evening I’ll need a concise report: number of professionals contacted, sign-ups achieved, projects posted and any blockers you’ve hit.
