I have had a successful house painting business for 15 years. I am currently working on streamlining all the processes through technology. The end goal is to design a systems management program that is usable by any painting company. \r\n\r\nI am using SmartSheet as a main platform for my organization because that is what I came across and what seems to work for me. As I\'ve gotten further along, I have realized some limitations to this program and that many, even highly skilled people are not familiar with it. I suppose I am open to other \"cloud\" based programs, but this is what I have become familiar with and I will be heavily biased towards anyone who can tell me they have direct experience in Smartsheet. \r\n\r\nI have designed an estimating program in Excel that I am currently refining. My objective is manyfold and encompasses my entire business. I already have it so that once I put in my initial measurements, the price and other vital data is calculated, digital contract for client and work order for crew are 80% written and attached to Smartsheet. Past this point, I run into technical difficulties that are beyond my knowledge.\r\n\r\nShort of writing new software, I want to use Smartsheet and whatever else I need to make my business run as efficiently as possible; work orders, contracts are attached to client file. Systems are set up so that I can enter the data once and the rest fills itself in. This is definitely a project where we would need to be in close contact; phone meetings, etc.
