I need a final native German speaker to proofread a second year German language textbook. The textbook has already been proofed once before by a native German (Hamburg based) DaF instructor, but there have since been a few changes. I would like a different person to try to look over the new materials plus catch the mistakes that have eluded our first proofer (and our non-native proof-readers).
The German involved is very basic, as the target audience of second year students has minimal skills. I've uploaded a sample page to give an example of the texts (this page has been revised since the earlier proof-reading).
Note that there are NO grammar sections in this proof-reading. Just interview texts, literary texts, exercise instructions, and comprehension questions about the readings/interviews.
There are 190 total pages, and this will be split into two 95 page parts - the first will be sent Thursday May 3 at 11:59pm US (California), and must be proofed within 24 hours. The second 95 page section will be available on Saturday May 5 at 11:59pm US (California), and also must be proofed within 24 hours.
