Django developer for location-based services for mobile apps - repost

Needed: Django developer for work on a web application used to track taxis, delivery vehicles, and other pay for service vehicles. This application will need to be written to provide several location based services for use in both iOS and Android based devices. Need to have a good understanding of location based applications. Some experience with PostGIS and geodjango (these are the technologies that we want to implement) would be helpful.

Need to have a good fundamental understanding of disconnected services, as a great deal of the work here will be to provide stored data to our mobile applications. There will also be an added administrative dashboard interface to allow management of vehicle fleets. This application will also be offered in several countries in the near future, so multi-language support is a necessity. Keep this in mind for your bid. This application runs on a Linux server so the successful candidate will need to be confortable with the Linux CLI and connecting to a Linux machine via ssh.

You will be working with at least one other developer and we will be watching the code for quality and maintainability. It is imperative that the site code be created in a fashion that can be maintained in the future by various levels of developer.
