Hello, and thanks for the opportunity to help out on your project. I can help you build a crawler/scraper that can extract the comments and corresponding replies/ratings. I imaging having something that you can run with just putting in the URL of the required article, which would then extract the comments from that page. This way, you can use the script for any article page as long as their format doesn't change (Changing class/ID tags, sections, etc. that would break the scraping technique). Even better would be if an API is available from the site that would allow you do download the data in a more easily parsable format. I realize this usually isn't available, but wanted to make sure it was a realized option. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss your project further. I look forward to hearing back from you.
