I am looking for someone who can fix a chromedriver python script that is currently unable to collect tweets containing images/videos/gifs. So this is how the script works now: after you install selenium and chromedriver (and add chromedriver to path), you run the following script with python (check attached).
Then it opens Chromedriver, you login to twitter (X), search for "ronaldo until:2012-01-01", click on "latest" tab, and then go back to anaconda window (or from the place where you ran the .py command) and hit enter. It should then scroll down 20 times (like in the script), then it SHOULD collect the links of all the tweets on the page with an image. But right now, it's collecting links of random tweets that don't contain images. I need someone to fix it so that it ONLY collects links of tweets on that page that contain photos/videos/gifs. And I will pay extra if you can also add an option to download those photos/videos/gifs after it creates a notepad with the links of the tweets containing the photos/videos/gifs.
Skills and experience needed for this project include:
- Expertise in Python and chromedriver
- Experience with web scraping and data collection
- Knowledge of Twitter API and tweet scraping
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug existing code
- Strong problem-solving skills
The main purpose of this is for me to be able to download all photos/videos/gifs of any word (like "ronaldo") from a certain time period like from 2012-04-12 until 2012-07-31. So try to fix the .py file I sent which chatgpt made for me
