We need a python 3 script to iterate through a folder of PDF files and merge them into multiple pages (or just one page, depending on the number of files).
The script will need to demonstrate printing 1x2 (2 documents on a page horizontally stacked), 2x2 (4 documents on a page, 2 on each row), 3x3 (9 documents on a page, 3 on each row). The documents need to be printed on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper (portrait).
If any of the documents being printed onto the 1x2, 2x2, or 3x3 documents are in a portrait position (taller than wide), they need to be rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise so they stack neatly.
The script must generate as many pages necessary to handle the documents in the directory (so, for example, in the case of a 3x3 print. If we have 27 documents, 3 pages are expected with 3x3 printing).
Requirements: Python 3 scripts and any required packages.

I have done similar work earlier. I will use the PyPDF2 library to parse PDFs, rotate the document for inappropriate aspect ratio and merge them. References: [login to view URL]
