I’m running a nationwide qualitative study with the goal of understanding Malaysian consumers through the eyes of experienced fragrance-shop owners and managers. The focus is on what truly drives purchase motivations, how brand loyalty is earned, and the fragrance preferences shaping today’s retail decisions. Here’s what I need from you: locate and confirm seven fragrance retailers—owners or managers—with at least five years in the business, spread across Malaysia. Once qualified, each participant must complete a 60-minute online video IDI. You will handle outreach, screening, scheduling, and participant follow-through so that every session happens smoothly on the agreed platform (Zoom, Teams, or similar). Deliverables • 7 completed one-hour video interviews • Recordings and verbatim transcripts for each session • Short screener data confirming eligibility (role and years of experience) • A brief fieldwork summary noting any regional insights or logistical issues encountered Acceptance criteria Interviews must run the full 60 minutes, feature clear audio/video, and cover all three behavioural themes (purchase motivations, brand loyalty, fragrance preferences).
