I need to modify the code in the file [login to view URL] to make it more efficient. It takes observations from the file Sample [login to view URL] and converts them into what its in output.csv. Currently the code handles in decent time up to 1,000 obs, but after that gets extremely inefficient (memory wise) and can take up to 4 days to process 4,000 obs. The goal here is to process 20,000 or more in a matter of hours or minutes. Ping me if there are any questions.

Kindly attach the code, sample input and output files. Regarding timing: If anything is taking so long in order of days, what's causing that issue? Is it sone mathematical operations, some optimization problem, just reading your data... what exactly is it causing the delay? About R As you might know R is built in the motivation that it can handle any size of data and is fastest among any other tool in the industry, simply because it works on RAM entirely. So, if you've enough RAM, using R is the fastest way around. So, talking about memory efficiency, there's hardly anything can be done if you're using an already optimized library. Solutions: Did you try batch processing? or parallelization of the code? If that's even possible or not? Anyway, message me and we can discuss the issue in detail. Thanks!
