Hello. We are looking for a React/Node.js expert.
We are a small music studio/library that writes and records music for NPR/Podcasts and Films. We’ve recently built a new website that hosts our library and are looking to find someone to work on the back end of our site alongside our existing developer. Our website is at www.sessions.blue.
We will be building out some new features and integrations this year including a new web app and a number of improved functions or users. Our site gets used as a tool by professional audio production teams and we want to be responsive to their feedback.
Our tech stack is decoupled. We have a static site built with Gatsby. Our library is React(Context, Styled Components, GraphQL). Our backend system is build with Strapi (Headless CMS)/Node.js. Most the our work is in the react app; It holds the library of music for users to listen, search, and filter. It also has an SaaS component for users who license our music as a subscription. It has been designed and built by our small team in collaboration with a larger web development team.
We are a very small team of a couple people, so we're hoping to work with someone self-directed who doesn't require an active project manager. Hours-per-week and timing is fairly flexible.
We would like to work with someone who is open to a longer term part-time relationship.
