Freelance Furniture Designer

An established firm delivering high end bespoke furniture design, specification and installations is seeking an experienced freelance furniture/project designer to assist in creating 3D designs of bespoke and custom made joinery and furniture, including kitchens, wardrobes, walk-in closets , one off commissions, and large residential projects. Responsible for preparing 3D designs of small and large furniture and joinery commissions using Sketchup or similar 3D programme. Conceptualising spaces and translating briefs and client requirements. Minimum 3 years experience in furniture and space planning role in residential sector is required. Proficiency in Sketchup or similar software, speed of work and creativity are key requirements. Experience of furniture production methods and materials are also very important. Graphic design skills are useful. This is an ongoing freelance position, working from our Battersea studio 2-3 days per week, and additionally remote working once experience level has been established.
