ABOUT ME: I'm a registered (licensed) architect in Denver Colorado with 40 years design and construction experience. My company name is Environmental Architecture LLC. I need your help to produce douments.
WHAT I REQUIRE.
Specifically, I require: a skilled drafts-person with 8 years + professional experience working for another architect or working as an architect yourself. You don't need to be in the USA or Denver yet it would help to work closer. I would also need to pay someone some more for our higher cost of living in Colorado.
THE PROJECT:
is to assist me in drafting the design and construction documents for a 6000 s.f. contemporary commercial building. This is to be both a church and school. The desired structural material is steel framing.
The time frame is 2 months for drawing completion. The budget for the building is very tight at 1 million dollars It is a low budget for all design engineering permits and construction.
YOUR SKILLS: You will need to be proficient, careful and communicate daily with me on [Removed by Freelancer.com Admin for offsiting - please see Section 13 of our Terms and Conditions], as I like to discuss & check the work so we don't make mistakes and I can give you more direction that way.
HERE IS A SPECIAL SKILL SET NEEDED:
You must be able to translate my clear pencil scale drawings (imperial system of measure) the plans, sections & elevations and 3-D sketches, accurately, into a CAD i program of your choicen with excellent workmanship.
SCOPE OF THE WORK:
It is a plus if you can generate a model in Sketchup or your own program as a massing or actual detail model. My 3-D sketches I produce with my clients will serve a guide. I will supply on the drawings that I give you, all the measurements necessary. My first step are the preliminary drawings approval by the client. Then I can deliver the drawings to work with my mechanical, structural and civil engineers. The we can adjust and finish our drawings to complete the project.
