I’m putting together a fresh, 1–5-minute Tom & Jerry–style short and I need a skilled 3D animator to bring the classic cat-and-mouse chaos to life. The goal is a polished, fully rendered sequence that captures the slapstick energy of the originals while taking advantage of modern 3D techniques. Here’s what I have in mind: • Story: a fast-paced chase with plenty of sight gags. I have a rough outline but I’m happy to refine it with you once we dive into storyboarding. • Style: full 3D animation—modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting, and final rendering. Think Pixar-level cleanliness rather than a simple toon shader. • Runtime: somewhere between one and five minutes; final length will depend on pacing once the animatic is locked. • Output: 1080p (or higher) H.264 video plus all project files for future tweaks. If you work in Maya, Blender, or Houdini and can handle the entire pipeline—animation, basic sound effects, and a touch of music for comedic timing—you’ll be a great fit. Please share links to similar shorts or character pieces you’ve animated, note your preferred software, and let me know roughly how long you’d need once the storyboard is approved. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner, and I’m open to splitting the work into clear milestones (storyboard, blocking, splining, final render) so everything stays on schedule.
