R - assembling a database on science funding - dealing with various APIs & text data
€2-10 EUR / hora
For this project you’ll need:
to get acquainted with various (API-related) R packages.
to be able to handle text data without unique identifiers (for instance, to identify that clinical trials conducted by “Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc.” and by “Bayer Corporation” are funded by the same organisation).
merge, consolidate & clean-up data coming from various sources.
deal with various data formats, such as XML for instance.
Ideally you also
know some Python.
have experience with databases.
have domain knowledge or interest in health, finance or meta-research (research on research).
In your bid please indicate your availability in hours per week.
It is a long-term project, which will be cut into fixed-budget milestones.
