ESG Metrics & Carbon accounting and compliance Training

I’m looking for a knowledgeable guide who can walk me through the nuts-and-bolts of ESG reporting, with a laser focus on two areas: how to calculate, interpret, and present ESG performance metrics, and how to align those metrics with current Social compliance regulations. My goal is to understand the full journey—from raw data to an investor-ready disclosure—so that I can confidently set targets, track progress, and respond to stakeholder questions. I’m particularly interested in the frameworks most companies lean on today (GRI, SASB, and the new ISSB drafts), the way social indicators tie back to the UN SDGs, and the practical steps for validating data integrity. To keep us both on track, I’d like the engagement to centre on three concrete deliverables: • A concise learning plan that maps the main metric categories (workforce diversity, labour practices, community impact, etc.) to the Social compliance rules that govern them. • Two live, screen-shared sessions where we apply those metrics to a sample data set—ideally using Excel or Power BI—so I can see the calculations in action. • A short reference packet (slides or Word doc) summarising key formulas, reporting templates, and links to the latest regulatory guidance. the scope covers reporting on climate-related financial disclosures (governance, strategy, risk, metrics) including GHG emissions (Scopes 1,2,3) in annual reports of large entities, with mandatory compliance and phased rollout. Practically it means: Identifying entities in scope. Setting up governance and processes. Collecting data (emissions, value chain, energy). Assessing climate-risks and opportunities and their impacts. Preparing the sustainability/climate report. I’m comfortable scheduling sessions across different time zones. If you have hands-on experience preparing social-focused ESG reports for listed companies or have audited such reports before, that’s exactly the perspective I want.
