Essentially, I have my architectural design already done, but I’m at the stage where I’m using the detail line too to trace my design (elevations), so I can create laser cut lines to give to the laser machine. The thing is I have already done this and made my first attempt to get my pieces cut. the thing is, when I tried to glue the pieces together, they didn't fit together to make my building. Consequently the problem is with the laser cut lines I made, and after talking to an architect aunt I have, she told me that the problem probably stems from the fact that I’m using Revit, which does everything in a 3D, meaning that I have multiple planes or something, and that I’ll maybe have to use a flatten tool or something so that I can retrace my design and make my laser cut pieces again with the proper measurements. But she said that she has more experience with AutoCAD than Revit, so she wasn’t entirely sure. I am already aware that one of my issues could involve not taking the thickness of my wood pieces into account, when creating my laser cut pieces on Revit, but I think my issue stems from more than that since there are also bizarre differences between the gradients between angles between pieces, that according to my Revit design should be equal.
