I’m putting together a new educational laboratory on campus that will serve as an “idea lab” for our university students— a space where they can brainstorm, prototype, and run small-scale experiments. I already have a shell room allocated; what I need now is a complete architectural layout that turns that blank space into an inspiring, fully functional learning environment. Scope of work • Translate the room’s dimensions (I’ll supply basic layout with size) into a detailed floorplan, alloting the equipment and areas for collaborative work, light bench-top experimentation, and computer stations. • Integrate flexible furniture systems, smart storage, and write-able surfaces while maintaining clear circulation paths • • Deliver 2D plans (DWG/PDF) plus at least two 3D perspective renders so faculty can visualize the space. A short specification sheet for furniture and fixtures rounds out the package. Tools you’re comfortable with—AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar—are fine as long as the final files are editable and dimensionally accurate. Acceptance criteria 1. Layout fits the provided room envelope to within 5 mm accuracy. 2. All safety clearances and ADA guidelines documented on the plan. 3. Renders clearly depict material finishes and lighting. 4. Source files and a simple bill of quantities handed over on sign-off. I can supply the existing plans and our brand palette immediately and will be available for quick feedback loops.
