I am seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Specialist or Customs Broker for a classification project. This is a paid pilot consisting of 100 line items, which will serve as a trial for a larger 2,000-item catalog. The products are a mix of: Pharmaceuticals & APIs (Chapter 29 & 30) Medical Devices & Instruments (Chapter 90) Lab Reagents & Chemicals (Chapter 38) IT Hardware and General Consumables. Deliverables: For each of the 100 items, you must provide: WCO 2022 6-Digit Code. Country-specific HTS extension (8-10 digits). Classification Rationale: A brief note citing the GRI (General Rules of Interpretation) or relevant Section/Chapter Notes used. Data Flagging: Identify any items where the provided description is insufficient and a TDS/MSDS is required. Required Skills: Deep knowledge of the Harmonized System (WCO). Specific experience with Medical/Life Sciences product categories. Attention to detail regarding Data Integrity and Audit-readiness. Project Type: Fixed Price.
