Simple iPhone PDF parser

I need a PDF document parser that can pull out text and images from a simple PDF. The document may have more than one page and multiple images. I will provide a sample copy of a PDF document that contains a few lines of text as well as a photo taken from the iPhone. I already create the PDF with the iPhone, but don't want to waste my time figuring out how to read back the text and image that I write to the PDF file. The document is password protected, but the "Quartz 2D Programming Guide - PDF Document Parsing" covers that well (so handle passwords only if its quick and easy). I plan to use the image to show in a UImageview.

I'm looking for someone familiar with Quartz 2D on iphone - my guess is it will take you less than an hour to do this.
