I have an excel Macro that works but has two small issues that I am unable to figure out how to resolve.
What the Macro Currently Does:
The macro will open files in a certain directory (hard coded) - format them to the correct specification (for example, turn all | into sections).
The macro will then save the file as file_2 and save as a CSV.
1. The macro will only run if there is a blank excel document open. For example, if there is 5 files in the run folder, I must have 5 open excel documents. It will not open a new doc, format, save, close, and open another one.
2. When saving the _2, it is placing it in the wrong spot. For example, the original file is called [url removed, login to view], it is saving as File.csv_2 instead of File_2.csv.
