We are an internet based ecommerce solutions provider that deals with all types of web projects, including design, ecommerce and custom programming.
We are looking for a support tech to monitor incoming support via chat and email - and handle all "level 1" tickets. Due to the nature of this work, there will be idle time when there are no tickets to do, so we expect that this provider will be doing other work as well. The main importance is that if a customer starts a chat designated, you are ready to chat, and that any tickets that have come in before or during your shift are entered into our ticket system, and any/all "Level 1" tickets are responded to by the end of your shift.
Specifics for this partner should be:
1) Ability to monitor chat and email for 6-12 hours per day either as an invidual or contracted team. The actual time to do tickets will take no more than 2-4 hours per day on average, but I want to have chat coverage as long as possible.
2) Enter tickets as they come in from customers
3) Assist customers with "Level 1" tickets including: installation of CGI scripts, reset of FTP passwords, assistance with domain registration questions and web hosting questions: "How do I make an email account", processing of domain/web hosting orders using web based interface.
4) Must have excellent written English.
5) We are looking for someone based in India, Russia, Eastern Europe to be in line with our schedule based in east africa.
