We have two websites for which we had main URL splash pages redeigned earlier this year. They each have a "random generator" script that pulls up one of three possible splash graphics each time a user accesses our main URL.
The problem is that this randomizer script deactivates browser navigation on Internet Explorer. It doesn't seem to have that affect on Netscape or Firefox or Safari, but since most people use Microsoft's substandard crap software, we have to dumb our sites down to make up for the lack of Microsoft's inability to make a product that actually works properly.
This is not a huge job, obviously, but we need to get it done. Anyone out there who knows how to build a randomizer that won't kill navigation with IE is what we're looking for.
