THE SEED OF TRUTH In a quiet village, parents work hard to protect their children from life's hardships. A mother braids her daughter's hair while a father prepares his son for school. But protecting children does not mean hiding the truth. One day, a young boy sees a bicycle and asks his father, “Baba, can I have one for the festival?” The father knows he cannot afford it. Instead of making a false promise, he gently explains that the harvest was poor and the family must spend their money on food and school. The boy is disappointed, but he accepts the truth and holds his father's hand. Later, a teenage girl accidentally spills precious maize flour. She fears punishment, but her mother calmly helps her clean it. NARRATOR: “Children learn how to face the world by watching how we face them.” When truth is safe at home, children learn that mistakes can be faced, not hidden. Like the roots of a great baobab tree, honesty may be invisible, but it gives children strength to stand when life's storms come. One day, the world may try to deceive them. But they will recognize truth because they learned its voice from you. As the sun sets, families gather together. NARRATOR: “Tonight, look into your child's eyes. Choose honesty. Choose courage.
