I need a fully unattended Windows-friendly script that will upgrade our VDAs from Citrix CVAD 2402 CU3 to the new CVAD LTSR 2507 build. The installation files already sit in our Mumbai data-centre repository; your script simply has to pull them down to each target server, carry out the upgrade, verify success and reboot when finished. Key flow I expect • Disk-space check comes first – if free space is below a safe threshold, the run must abort and write a clear message to the log. • Download the 2507 installer from the repository path I will supply. • Launch a clean reboot so files are not locked, then resume automatically with no user interaction. Using RunOnce, Task Scheduler or another proven method is fine as long as I never have to log in manually. • Perform a silent VDA upgrade ([login to view URL] /quiet or similar). • Validate all Citrix services start correctly – at minimum the BrokerAgent, ProfileManagement, DesktopService and Print service – and record the status. • Initiate a final reboot once everything passes. Logging & resilience All activity and errors must be written to a local log file (simple text or CSV is okay). The script should exit with a non-zero code on any failure so our monitoring can pick it up. Deliverables 1. PowerShell (preferred) or batch script with clear inline comments. 2. A short README explaining prerequisites, variables to edit (repository URL, log path, disk-space threshold) and how the auto-resume mechanism works. 3. Optional: a small test plan showing the checks you ran to confirm the upgrade is fully silent and recoverable after reboot.
