I’d like a small, clean script hook mod for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (PC version) that lets me press the G key to sheathe/unsheathe or holster the current lightsaber or any other held weapon. The game runs with Script Hook Updated from nexusmods Core goal • When the player presses G (or any other configurable key in a .ini file) the script checks the active character’s weapon state and toggles it on or off. • The toggle must work for sabers, blasters, and any item recognised by the game as a “weapon”. • No on-screen UI is required—just the in-game animation/state change. Compatibility requirements • PC build only, working alongside other popular ScriptHook-based mods. • Steam version • Zero conflicts with save files or core game assets. Deliverables 1. Compiled mod file(s) ready to drop into the game’s mod folder. 2. Source code and brief inline comments so I can follow the logic. 3. A short read-me that covers installation, load order notes, and how to remap the key if desired. 4. Quick test video or screenshots showing the toggle in action. I’m flexible on language and toolset—as long as it’s stable and easy for other modders to extend later.
