Weekly Golf Tee-Time Booking Bot

My goal is simple: every week, the moment tee-time bookings open, a script should log in to the club’s website with my username and password and secure the exact slot our foursome prefers. The site is purely web-based and does not involve SSO or 2FA—just the standard login form—so browser automation (Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, etc.) or clean API calls will work. Key expectations • The bot must accept the target day, time window, and player count as variables I can edit without touching the code. • It has to launch automatically on a weekly schedule and keep trying until the booking is confirmed or the times sell out. • A clear success/failure message (email, SMS, or simple log file) should reach me immediately after each run. • Code should be well-commented, portable, and able to run on a small cloud instance or a local machine with minimal setup (Python/Node virtual environment, cron-ready). • Any site changes—new form field IDs, extra captcha, etc.—should be easy for me to adjust following inline instructions. Acceptance criteria 1. Fresh installation on a clean machine, run once in demo mode, and it books a test slot in the club’s sandbox or off-peak times. 2. One full live booking on the real site, with confirmation number captured and sent to me. 3. Setup guide (readme or short video walkthrough) covering environment, variables, and scheduling. With this in place, our group never has to hit refresh at 6 a.m. again. Let’s automate that perfect tee time.
