GOAL: Build a viable ecommerce website for collectible card games (focused initially on Magic the Gathering) that can allow for future development into a card gaming community portal. BUILD REQUIREMENTS: Design should be functional, easy to use, and attractive. Buttons should be used in place of text links where possible. COMPARABLES: Site design and function should emulate comparable sites such as [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] SITE FLOW (via php): Home Page. Category links to product lists, search products by product title, news (controlled by admin CMS). Image links directly to product must be possible for events such as purchasing “preregistraton?? to tournament events Product Listing: Page of products by list (search or category results list: sortable categories must include sorting by card color, type, and rarity) Product Details: Page of details for individual product with option of adding to shopping cart Shopping Cart: Registered clients can purchase items and pay via merchant account (Maybe PayPal but preferably not PayPal) Requires SSL Shipping Notification/Status (This may be handled by email on launch, but potential for future integration with database must be possible) Admin CMS: Inventory control interface capable of updating individual or multiple items. (Must have csv input for mass upload. Images will be uploaded separately by ftp.) Requires SSL DATABASE REQUIREMENTS: MySQL Tables: Inventory (an inventory database will need to include certain fields to be searched for on the site.) Registered Users (name, address, email address) MINIMUM LAUNCH REQUIREMENTS: Home Page Categories/Search Result Page Details Page Client Registration Page Shopping Cart Integration (including third party cart) Admin CMS Home Page Admin CMS Database Access for Records Editing Scripts to Search Database for Cards Script to Notify Customer of Shipping.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
