Small-Batch FR Apparel Sewing

Seeking experienced contract sewists who can turn medium-weight, fire-resistant woven yardage into finished work shirts and cargo pants utilized in wildland firefighting. I will ship the cut yardage, notions, and detailed tech packs that outline seam allowances, pocket placements, and closure requirements. Your role is to assemble each garment to spec, perform a final press, and pack it ready for shipment to the end user. Industrial machines that can handle medium-weight FR fabrics—straight-stitch, overlock, and buttonholes—are essential. Preference given to candidates who can eventually take on cutting as well. Other skills required: Ability to self-manage, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work on a deadline. Ability to work with cloud-based order-tracking spreadsheets preferred. Deliverables for each batch • Completed work shirts of various styles (button-down, full zip, full snap, half zip, half snap) • Completed cargo pants with various pocket styles • QC sheet noting any variances or issues per garment Once the first sample set passes inspection, we can move to recurring batches on a mutually agreed schedule.
