We are looking for a service-oriented individual to bridge the gap between our online store and our customers.
Absolute English fluency is a requirement.
The candidate will be responsible for handling all customer inquiries, currently all electronic (via email, social media channels, or a ticket system).
The candidate will also be responsible for some "catch-all" type of responsibilities--things like scheduling Social Media posts, creating and sending newsletters of new products, and other similar tasks that will generally help further our brand and boost engagement.
The ideal candidate is someone that shares both a passion or making a customer feel valued and for the products we sell--baby and toddler clothing. Having knowledge of this niche is a great asset. Being able to evaluate product cost and potential customer emotional response for various situations and selecting the best path is an even better asset.
Familiarity with the Shopify platform and past experience in a similar role or a floor manager type role is a plus.
The ability to work independently and make judgment calls in tough situations is a must. The desire to be proactive in creating processes to solve potential future issues and also to reach outside of the "Customer Service" role to help the store in any other ways possible is necessary. This could include things like identifying recurring customer issues, working to help fulfill orders if our team is behind, or doing any other general tasks to help further our overall cause.
Customer inquiries will come in 24/7. The applicant's full-time availability will need to spread over all days of the week so that a customer never waits longer than 24 hours to hear a reply (and, on average, all replies are much quicker).
Salary will be negotiable and paid on a monthly basis.
