This project is for a church silent auction database.
We have to keep track of:
Attendees who come to dinner
Donors who give items for the silent auction
Items for silent auction, including their values, and a short description
We want to create “baskets” of different items, and each basket has a description
We want to put these baskets into larger categories such as Vacations, Dining out, craft projects made by the kids, hobbies, etc.
Each basket will have a value, which is the total value of the items in the basket, a starting bid, incremental bid amount, and the person’s name and high bid of the winner.
At the end of the evening, we need a form to input the winning information for each basket, create a receipt, and several other reports.
If anyone has created a similar program, this would be helpful.
We’d like this created in MS Access 2000 or lower.
If there is a better way to explain this project, I’d be happy to hear about it.
