I am looking for an experienced electronics engineer to review, validate, and improve a Driven Right Leg (DRL) circuit designed in KiCad. The circuit is part of an Arduino-based EEG front-end, where the DRL is used to reduce common-mode noise (mainly 50 Hz mains interference in Europe) and improve signal quality. The freelancer must analyze the existing schematic, evaluate the DRL loop stability, feedback design, and overall effectiveness in common-mode noise rejection. If needed, the circuit should be corrected and optimized by adjusting component values or modifying the topology. A key requirement is both mathematical analysis and simulation-based validation. The freelancer must explain the circuit operation using equations and demonstrate its performance through simulation (LTSpice or similar). The simulation must clearly show reduction of common-mode noise (e.g. 50 Hz), comparison with and without DRL, stable behavior (no oscillations), and improvement of the signal quality. The analysis must not be limited to a single frequency; the circuit should also be evaluated over a wider frequency range to ensure robustness against harmonics and broadband noise. For realistic results, it is strongly recommended to include a simplified body model (RC network for electrode/body impedance) in the simulation. The final deliverables should include the corrected schematic (or documented changes), simulation files, graphs, and a short technical explanation of the improvements and results. Only proposals that include both simulation and mathematical analysis/justification will be considered.

Hello, I can review and validate your Driven Right Leg (DRL) circuit and perform a full analysis of the feedback loop to ensure it effectively suppresses common-mode interference while remaining stable. The work would include examining the existing KiCad schematic, deriving the DRL loop behavior mathematically, and verifying stability margins through simulation. I will model the electrode/body interface using an RC network so the simulations reflect realistic EEG conditions rather than idealized inputs. Using LTSpice, I will simulate the circuit with and without the DRL loop to demonstrate the reduction of 50 Hz mains noise and analyze performance across a wider frequency range to evaluate robustness against harmonics and broadband interference. If improvements are needed, I will propose revised component values or topology adjustments and validate them through both mathematical justification and simulation results. Deliverables will include the updated schematic, simulation files, plots demonstrating noise reduction and loop stability, and a concise technical explanation of the design decisions.

Hi, Your project aligns well with my experience analyzing low-noise analog front-ends and feedback systems. I can evaluate your DRL implementation by first examining the loop structure and deriving the transfer function to assess common-mode rejection and stability. From there, I will simulate the circuit in LTSpice using a simplified electrode/body impedance model so the results reflect realistic EEG conditions. The simulations will compare the system with and without DRL to demonstrate the reduction of 50 Hz mains interference and evaluate behavior across a broader frequency range to check for oscillations or instability. If optimization is required, I’ll adjust component values or propose small topology improvements and verify them through both mathematical analysis and simulation. You will receive the corrected schematic, simulation files, graphs showing noise suppression, and a short technical report explaining the improvements.

Greetings, I can help review and improve your DRL circuit for the Arduino-based EEG front-end, ensuring the design provides strong common-mode rejection without introducing loop instability. My approach will involve analyzing the DRL feedback path mathematically to evaluate loop gain, stability margins, and expected noise suppression. I will then reproduce the circuit in LTSpice and integrate a simplified body/electrode impedance model to simulate realistic operating conditions. The simulations will demonstrate: • Reduction of 50 Hz common-mode noise • System behavior with and without the DRL loop • Stability across a broader frequency spectrum • Absence of oscillation in the feedback loop If necessary, I’ll optimize the component values or feedback topology and validate the improvements through both equations and simulation results. All deliverables will include simulation files, graphs, updated schematic notes, and a concise explanation of the results.
