Need application that will do the following for thursday. Latest Friday:
For this project, you will need to build an Android application that makes use of intent and data passing. Minimally, the app must do the following things:
Contain three screens: list, view, and add screens.
Application will use multiple activities to create the application's screens.
Application will use fragments to create the UI for all screens.
Add screen will allow for the user to enter in at least three points of data.
List screen will allow the user to view a list of the entered data.
View screen will allow the user to view the data for an entry in the list.
List of data is stored to a file and data can be added and removed from the list with changes saving out to the file to persist data between launches of the app.
View screen will allow the user to delete an item from the list of data. When delete is selected, the app will navigate back to the list screen.
Application uses explicit intents to pass data to other activities and at least one implicit intent to pass data to other apps.
In addition to the above minimum requirements, the following functionality is required:
Add screen accepts user input while the view screen only shows readonly views (does not accept input).
Data is stored to a file using a list of serializable objects instead of text or JSON formatted data.
Application uses result intents to pass data back to previous activities.
When data is deleted and the view screen is closed, the list should automatically refresh the data contained within to show the delete happened.
Important Requirement Notes
The application must support a minSdk of API 14 and a targetSdk of API 19 and launch on an Android emulator or device of API 14 or above. Applications that do not compile will not receive credit.
Do NOT use any Android Studio or Eclipse templates in the creation of this project. The templates provided by your IDE are specialized to do certain things that we are not using in this assignment. Templates will become useful in the future but, for now, just leave them alone.
