About a year ago we had a developer write us a Google App Script that notifies designated users via email when changes are made within certain folders, e.g. new doc added or edited. It worked great up until about a month ago. Now it logs the changes in the database but no longer sends the emails. We need someone to take a look and get the email portion to start working again. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Here is the original project description:
We would like a tool, within our G-Suite, where we can enable or disable at will Google Drive change notifications. All those who share the folder should be notified when a new document is created or edited within a designated folder in G-Drive. The notification should be by email or text to multiple recipients who share the folder.
*Script must remain secure.
Basically a script or tool inside Google apps (GSuite) that does not expose it to any outside third party vulnerability, of course, but does the following: Allows us to enable/disable Google Drive folder/file change notifications. So if a file is created, added or changed in a particular folder, then we can choose one or more email recipients to notify of that file/folder change. I need to install this on three domains so that they are all communicating with each other. I'd like you to build the script and help me install it on one domain, but leave me instructions on how to install it for the other two domains. Let me know your thoughts here.
