Need help writing a function to turn 25 boolean values into a single binary string with each byte representing the boolean value

I am designing an application for a robot to scan a cassette tower with 25 potential substrate slots.

I am recording these inputs as a boolean value but need to return the value as a binary integer.

therefor I need to convert all the boolean array values into a series of bytes (in order) like so...

Ex.) 0100110101100010101110010

- First byte being boolean value 1 (0=false/1=true)

- Last byte being boolean value 25

I need this completed in less than 12 hours.
