This example will be the starting point of the test. You will first need to set up the Qt / Qt3D environment and create a project with the files given in the example.
In summary, this project example can visualize 3D shapes and show or hide each of the forms. These forms are all related to the QEntity rootEntity (created in the hand)
The goal of the exercise is to allow the user to change the parent of each shape: for example, give the cube the sphere for a new parent and then reparent the cube to rootEntity. Moreover the user will be able to choose if the object whose parentage is changed keeps its local or global transformation.
The shape of the user interface is not imposed, so you can do what suits you best (it will for example be easier to set up a button-based interface rather than a tree in which you drag and drop. drop the objects).
You can work in the files provided in the example or create your own classes but in both cases, try to value your changes (via comments for example).
