A 24-page paper from the journal Computational Geometry describing a circle packing algorithm is attached. I am looking for somebody to translate the algorithm described in the paper into mathematical equations and pseudo-code that I can use to write an algorithm to add a "Packed Bubble Charting" feature to a marketed software application that creates bubble charts for business data analyses.
The general circle-packing algorithm is shown in Table 1 on page 246.
A qualified Freelancer would need to have excellent understanding of mathematics, algorithm design, and operations research to be able to complete this assignment.
The completed work product would allow me to use the Freelancer-provided mathematical equations, including an objective function, to pack circles of non-uniform radiuses to near optimal packing configurations within a rectangular space. I will use these equations to write the application programing and graphics for the packed-bubble charting feature in the application.
