I already have several Hikvision G40 cameras reporting to our own server over the JT808 protocol. We used the JT808Gateway C# library to get things setup The devices are set to raise ADAS and Driver Status Monitoring alarms—forward-collision, lane departure, fatigue, phone use and similar events—yet nothing ever arrives. Because Hikvision’s extensions to JT808 are undocumented, I need someone who has cracked this before to guide the process and write the working integration. I will accept: Code is able to parse the jt808 packets and get the information The original hikvision g40 documentation that lays everything out ( in english )

The main issue here is likely not the standard JT808 layer, but Hikvision’s undocumented G40 extensions—especially identifying exactly how ADAS/DSM alarm data is encoded and why those packets are currently not reaching your server. I can investigate the existing C# JT808Gateway integration, analyze the actual traffic, identify the Hikvision-specific message/extension fields, and implement the required parsing so the alarm events become usable in your server. I’d focus on: • Capturing and analyzing raw JT808 packets • Identifying Hikvision G40 ADAS/DSM extensions • Updating the C# parser/integration • Testing forward collision, lane departure, fatigue, phone-use and related events • Documenting the discovered packet structure and message fields • Providing the English G40 documentation if available through the investigation Before starting, I’d need the exact G40 model/firmware version, JT808Gateway version, and ideally a few raw packet captures from triggered alarms. I can start with packet analysis immediately and deliver a working integration within 7 days. Thanks, Ahtesham

Silent-drop on ADAS/DSM almost always comes down to the 0x0200 location report, not a missing message type — those alarms ride in as additional-information items with IDs 0x64 (ADAS), 0x65 (DSM), 0x66 and 0x67, per the 苏标/JT-T 1078 extension Hikvision follows, and most gateway libraries either skip unknown extension IDs silently or bail on the whole packet. The other classic cause is the 2013-vs-2019 header: G40 firmware usually sends 2019-format headers with the version bit set and a different phone-number field, so a parser assuming 2013 misaligns every body offset and the alarms vanish without an error. First thing I'd do is take raw hex captures off your listener and decode them by hand to confirm which of the two is happening before writing a line of code. Then I'd write the C# extension parsers for 0x64/0x65 including the 30-byte alarm identifier, and wire up the attachment flow properly — 0x9208 from your platform, 0x1210/0x1211/0x1212 from the device on the separate attachment port — since that's what actually gets you the alarm snapshots and clips, and it's the part people usually miss. I should be straight with you on one point: I can't hand over Hikvision's internal document, since it isn't mine to distribute — what I can deliver is working parser code plus a written spec of every field and flow, derived from your own devices' traffic, which is what you actually need. Send me a pcap or a hex dump of a few 0x0200 packets and I can start decoding immediately.

Hi, I can diagnose why the Hikvision G40 ADAS/DSM events are not reaching your application and extend the existing C# JT808Gateway integration to parse them correctly. I’ll capture and compare raw device frames, verify registration/authentication, protocol version, message IDs, fragmentation, checksums, acknowledgements, and vendor-specific additional-information fields. The parser will preserve unknown extension data rather than silently discarding it, then map collision, lane-departure, fatigue, phone-use, media, and related alarm fields into documented C# models. I’ll also create automated packet-replay tests using sanitised captures, decoding logs, malformed-frame tests, and regression fixtures so future library updates do not break alarm handling. Delivery will include source code, sample decoded packets, field mappings, configuration notes, and deployment instructions. If original English Hikvision documentation is lawfully available, I can work from or help identify it. I cannot guarantee access to confidential manufacturer documentation. Three technical questions: 1. Which JT808 version and JT808Gateway package/version are currently configured? 2. Can you provide raw hexadecimal packets or PCAP captures from the G40 devices? 3. Do the cameras receive successful platform acknowledgements for registration, authentication, and heartbeat messages? Best regards, Houssame

Hi there, I can help investigate the Hikvision G40 JT808 integration and identify why the ADAS and Driver Status Monitoring events are not reaching your server. I’ll start by tracing the existing JT808Gateway C# implementation, inspecting the raw packets and message IDs, and comparing the device behavior with the standard JT808 message structure. For Hikvision-specific extensions, I’ll focus on the undocumented alarm/event payloads, message types, parameter fields, escaping and checksum handling so the integration can correctly decode forward-collision, lane departure, fatigue, phone-use and related alerts. I’ll then implement the required C# parsing logic and test it against actual G40 packets to confirm the event information is extracted reliably. I’ll also document the discovered Hikvision-specific structures and provide the available original English documentation if it can be obtained legitimately. The final result will be working code that parses the JT808 packets and exposes the relevant alarm details clearly. Looking forward to working with you. Thanks

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer experienced with protocol integrations and device communication systems. I understand the challenge—JT808 is standardized, but Hikvision's ADAS and Driver Status Monitoring extensions lack official documentation. The issue is likely that alert packets arrive but your parsing logic doesn't handle Hikvision's custom message structures. The JT808Gateway library covers the baseline protocol, but manufacturer-specific alarm types need custom deserialization. My approach: First, I'll capture raw packet data from your cameras to understand Hikvision's actual structure. Once we see what's on the wire, we can reverse-engineer the message format for forward-collision, lane departure, fatigue detection, and phone use events. Then I'll write C# parsing logic to extract those alerts and map them to usable data. The challenge is usually parameter IDs and data types—manufacturers encode timestamps differently, use non-standard length fields, or nest data unexpectedly. We'll iterate through test cases to confirm patterns. I'll deliver working C# code that reliably parses these packets, plus detailed documentation of Hikvision's implementation for future reference. I can start immediately. Let's discuss the details. Thanks, Denis.

I’ve worked with JT808-style telematics protocols, binary packet parsing, C# services, and undocumented device extensions, so this Hikvision G40 integration is the kind of protocol-level problem I can investigate directly. I’ll trace the current JT808Gateway handling from registration and message routing through alarm packet reception, identify the Hikvision-specific message IDs, payload structures, and encoding differences for ADAS/DSM events, then implement the missing parsers and acknowledgements as required. I’ll validate the integration against actual G40 packets for forward collision, lane departure, fatigue, phone use, and other available events, with raw packet logging so every decoded field can be verified. If the original Hikvision G40 documentation can be obtained from the available materials, I can also organize the relevant protocol definitions into clear English documentation alongside the working C# integration. Thanks,

Hello, I can build a JT808 parser that handles Hikvision’s proprietary extensions by analyzing the raw packets and reverse-engineering the undocumented fields, rather than relying on generic documentation. I’ve done this before for a similar fleet management system—had to decode custom vendor fields to trigger alerts for speeding and harsh braking. I’d approach this by first mapping the standard JT808 fields, then using a hex editor to identify the custom Hikvision alarm codes, and finally validating the output against known test cases. The biggest win will be reducing false negatives from unparsed alerts. This will cut down on manual review time and improve response times to critical events. I provide two weeks of bug fixes and improvements after delivery to ensure the integration keeps working. If we’re aligned, I’d be happy to review your existing setup and suggest the best way to extract the alarm data. Thanks, Lazar.

Hi-Abror Here From Uzbekistan. "Parse Hikvision G40 JT808 Alerts" - I’ll extend your C# JT808 integration to decode Hikvision-specific packets and expose ADAS and driver-monitoring events reliably. I can trace incoming JT808 packets, identify undocumented Hikvision message extensions, map alarm payloads, and integrate parsing cleanly into your existing JT808Gateway implementation. I will capture and analyze packet structures, implement C# parsers, validate alarm mappings, test representative events, and document the discovered Hikvision protocol details clearly. Can you provide sample JT808 packets captured when an ADAS or driver-status alarm is triggered? Could you please clarify the following questions to help me better understand the project? : 1. Do you have packet captures containing known alarm events? 2. Which JT808Gateway library version is currently deployed? 3. Is the Hikvision G40 firmware version known? Looking forward to working with you.

Hi, The missing alerts are likely in the device-specific JT808 payloads or alarm configuration rather than the base gateway connection. I would capture the raw packets from a controlled ADAS event, compare their message IDs and bodies with standard JT808 handling, and add a parser that preserves unknown fields for analysis. Can you provide a raw packet capture from a triggered alert alongside the G40 configuration export? I have experience with APIs, integrations, protocol-level troubleshooting, and production systems. I can work from packet evidence to identify the actual payload structure and implement parsing in your existing C# gateway workflow. I would not rely on undocumented fields until they are verified against repeatable device events. The deliverable should include the parser, sample decoded alerts, and a concise technical note covering the confirmed message format and configuration dependencies. Kind regards.
