Looking for someone who has experience with programming sensors using ROS. We have purchased an RPLIDAR A2 sensor online to be attached to one of our order picker trucks in our warehouse. The Lidar must detect bins that protrude into the aisles, and alarm the order picker truck driver to stop before he makes contact with the protruding bin. the Lidar is 360 degree range so it will need to differentiate between what is the floor/ceiling and what is an obstacle. When we purchased the sensor we expected to program it with Arduino, which I have experience with, however the model we bought is not compatible. From my understanding, the sensor can only be programmed using a ROS, which we do not have the required software or hardware to do at my company. If you have the required technical skills and resources to complete this job, we will compensate accordingly. Thank you!
