3D PARAMETRIC modeling of sector gear and pinion assembly, preferably in CATIA P3 V5-6R2017 60 environment, formulae to be defined in software. Goal is to enable maximum torque transfer of 27 Nm from pinion to sector gear without breakage of teeth, decibel level below 45 dB and smooth motion. Gear drivetrain should be designed such that input motor torque requirement at the pinion falls below 10 Nm. Centre distance should be ensured with H7 tolerance and meshing should be ensured for atleast 5 years of intermittent working conditions.
Also, supplier search for motors that can supply atleast 10 Nm of torque within motor dimension contraints that will be given once project starts.
Communication with our fabricators on the feasibility and using their feedback for re-design.
Final assembly constraints to be defined so as to enable motion simulation later on.
