I will send you high-resolution photos of a fabric swatch that I want to use for a casual-wear women’s line. Your first task is to figure out the fiber composition, weave/knit type, approximate weight, and the closest common trade name—without guessing or simply repeating generic terms. Once the fabric is pinned down, I need you to track it down inside India and make it easy for me to buy. The clothes I have in mind range from dresses to tops, blouses, pants, and skirts, so the fabric must work across all of those silhouettes. It also needs to tick four boxes: organic, stretchable, breathable, and produced with a sustainable footprint. Please focus on mills, wholesalers, or retail sources that can sell in small yardage for sampling yet can scale up if the collection takes off. Deliverables I expect: • A concise identification report describing fibre content, construction, weight (GSM), and a clear photo reference to my original image. • A sourcing table with at least three verified Indian suppliers for the same—or the closest match—fabric. Each entry must show: direct link to the product or mill page, MOQ, price per metre, stretch percentage if applicable, sustainability certification (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, etc.), and the best contact channel for ordering. • Practical ordering guidance—lead times, payment terms, courier options, and any tips that simplify placing my first sample or small-batch order. Accuracy and verifiability are more important than speed, but I would love to see the first draft list within three days so I can start requesting swatches right away.
