We have 5 audio files in WAVE format. They are
generated by other programs once every hour.
They average 10-12 seconds in length but that is
not exact. So the total of the 5 audio files is
In addition to that, we have a collection of audio
files of lengths 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0,
5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5 and 10.0
seconds. For simplicity in the description below
we will call this collection the time filler group.
What we need is for software that does the following:
Monitor the 5 audio files date and time stamp. They would be named [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view],
[url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] and 5.wav. If any get updated, then take the five files and
splice them together in order of their names to
create one long file of a new file name called basic.wav. We will
call that the basic content for purposes of what follows.
Then, based on the duration of that new [url removed, login to view] file, pick one of the audio files from the time filler group (1.5 to 10.0 seconds), then splice one time filler recording to the latest basic content recording so that the total length of the
combination is 59.0 to 59.9 seconds. That combination would have a different file name than any of the elements. The final output file is a static name as specified in the INI file.
This software must run 24/7 with no user intervention. So long as the Windows computer is running, it must keep the final combination up to date.
The five files that make up the basic elements would be generated within a minute or so of the same time, once per hour.
I need this project done in 2 weeks after you receive my sample wav files, probably within a day or two or three from award of project.
No GUI would be needed.
