The Dynamic Financial Fair Play (FFP) Compliance & 3-Year Forecasting System is a web-based decision-support platform designed to assess football clubs’ compliance with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) and Financial Sustainability Regulations (FSR). The system analyses historical financial data (e.g., 2021–2023) and generates forward-looking three-year forecasts (e.g., 2024–2026) under multiple financial scenarios such as base, optimistic, and stress cases. At its core, the project features a dynamic rule engine, where FFP regulations are stored and executed as JSON-based formulas, allowing easy updates without code changes. The backend is built using Spring Boot and PostgreSQL, while the frontend uses Thymeleaf and [login to view URL] for interactive data visualisation. The platform integrates a lightweight machine learning model (Logistic Regression or Random Forest) to estimate breach-risk probabilities, enhancing predictive insight. Key functions include financial data ingestion via CSV, compliance evaluation, scenario simulation, and PDF/CSV report exports. The system aims to support both researchers and football executives in understanding how financial and regulatory decisions impact club compliance trajectories over time.
