a client of mine is using an application that runs on a Sybase Datebase.? It is a contact managment program used by law firms to? run their practice? and is called Legal Files software.
i am moving the client from this application to an online CRM and need help exporting the sybase data into a CSV file.
i need to? import the CSV file? to abacus law software .
i only want? the coder to provide the exported CSV file and WE can upload the data to the new CRM.?
NEW INFO The CSV file must contain all of the records we need from the DB. the data in the existing sybase DB resides in a number of tables. For instance the names data or contacts information resides in several tables. the name is in 1 table and the address is in another. the same may be true for the matter or legal case data. i understand there may be a common field that relates the data together however. I do NOT believe you will be able to open this DB without installing legal files software which may not be possible although if you have sybase you might be able to open it. However, i am able to connect remotely to the DB using rasorSQL and winsql. i am able to do a sql query but i dont really know how to pull data out of multiple tables with 1 query. I believe that if someone knew how to do a SQL query over MULTIPLE tables they could export the data for me. The program we are importing into is much easier to work with as it only allows 3 types of import those being contact records, case info and events. However that means that the data must be in the right form or it wont work
